EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED: On June 16, 2015, Mr. David Allen O’Neal, Crawford County Coroner, was indicted on two counts of Violation of Oath by Public Officer; and The indictment was transmitted to the Governor pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 45— 5~6(b), and the certified copy was received on June 26, 2015; and The 14—day period following the receipt of the indictment as prescribed by O.C.G.A. § 45-5-6(e) has passed. ' Now, THEREFORE, BY VIRTUE OF THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME As GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT Is HEREBY That Attorney General Sam Olens; Spalding County Coroner, John “Sonny” Foster; and Stephens County Coroner, Chris Stephens, are hereby appointed as the review commission to determine whether the indictment relates to and adversely affects the administration of the office of Crawford County Coroner by Mr. O’Neal such that the rights and interests of the public are adversely affected thereby and to make a written report to me within 14 days with a recommendation as to whether Mr. O’Neal should be suspended from office as required by O.C.G.A. § 45—5—6(e).- A .
