The State of Georgia holds title to certain real property by virtue of a December 30, 1987
warranty deed of gift from Kimberly—Clark Corporation, being known as Tract 1, for
approximately 98.099 acres recorded in Hancock County Clerk of Superior Court in
Deed Book 5—2, Pages 266—273 (the ”Property”); and

Said Property is in the custody of the Department of Corrections (the "Department”) and is
operated as Hancock State Prison; and

The Property improvements include (4) tents labeled J1, J2, J3, and J4, and as shown in
that aerial photograph attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference
(the “Structures”); and

Said Structures were identified by the Department to be abandoned and no longer serve a
purpose to the facility, are declared to have no value, and staff of the Department
recommended the removal of the Structure; and

The Board of Corrections on January 15, 2015, resolved to recommend the removal of the
Structures and requested that the State Properties Commission seek an ExecutiVe Order
from the Governor to allow for the razing, demolition, and disposal of the Structures as in
the best interest of the State of Georgia; and

The Department of Corrections has funding available to raze, demolish, and dispose of said
Structures.

NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF
THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY

The Department of Corrections is hereby authorized and directed to provide for the razing,
demolition and disposal of said Structures under the terms and conditions which are
deemed to be in the best interests of the State of Georgia. -
