EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED: On December 1, 2014, Mr. Seaton Bennett, Tax Commissioner of Pulaski County, was indicted on one count of Violation of Oath by Public Officer and one count Of Crossing the Guard Line with Unauthorized Items; and The indictment was transmitted to the Governor pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 45—5—6Cb), and the certified copy was received on December 4, 2014; and The 14—day period following the receipt of the indictment as prescribed by O.C.G.A. § 45-5-6(e) has passed. Now, THEREFORE, BY VIRTUE OF THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME As GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT Is HEREBY That Attorney General Sam Olens, Twiggs County Tax Commissioner E. Walton (Buddy) NeSmith, and Bacon County Tax Commissioner William B. (Bill) Johnson are hereby appointed as the review commission to determine whether the indictment relates to and adversely affects the administration of the Office of Pulaski County Tax Commissioner by Mr. Bennett such that the rights and interests Of the public are adversely affected thereby and to make a written report to me within 14 days with a recommendation as to whether Mr. Bennett should be suspended from Office as required by O.C.G.A. § 45—5-6(e).
