THE STATE OF GEORGIA EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED: ORDERED: There currently exists at the University of Georgia, Clarke County, Athens, Georgia, a building known as the Red Barn at South Milledge Avenue (#2901), (the “building”); and The Board of Regents, at its meeting On April 15-16, 2014, declared that said building can no longer be advantageously used by the University of Georgia or the University System of Georgia and should be removed. Now, THEREFORE, BY THE POWER VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY That the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia is hereby authorized to remove said building from the University of Georgia, Clarke County, Athens, Georgia. IT IS FURTHER That the appropriate staff of the University of Georgia, Clarke County, Athens, Georgia, acting under the approval of the Board Of Regents of the University System of Georgia, is hereby authorized to remove said building from the premises; said removal to be performed as expeditiously as possible.
