EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED: On November 13, 2013, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 15-11-172, a nominating committee was appointed to consider nominees for the position of Child Advocate; and The nominating committee accepted nominations for the position of Child Advocate and on December 19, 2013, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 15-11-172, submitted the names of three finalists for consideration. Now, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY That effective February 1, 2014, the Honorable Ashley Willcott, is hereby appointed as Georgia’s Child Advocate for a term of office ending December 31, 2016, to succeed the Honorable Tonya Boga who resigned effective December 31, 2013.
