EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED: By Executive Order dated April 19, 2013, I appointed a review commission to determine whether the indictment of City of Brunswick Mayor Pro Tem and City Commissioner, Mr. James H. Brooks, Sr., related to and adversely impacts the administration of the office of mayor pro tem and city commissioner pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 45-5-6; and By the report dated April 29, 2013, that commission unanimously recommended that City of Brunswick Mayor Pro Tern and City Commissioner, Mr. James H. Brooks, Sr., be suspended from office under the provisions of O.C.G.A. § 45-5-6. N Ow, THEREFORE, PURSUANT To THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY That Mr. James H. Brooks, Sr. is hereby suspended from office immediately and without further action pending the final disposition of the case or until the expiration of his term of office, whichever occurs first, as provided in O.C.G.A. § 45—5—6(c). —\-\«\ This 02? day of April, 2013.
