\‘I\\ THE STATE OF GEORGIA EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED: ORDERED: ORDERED: ORDERED: Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 20—2—73(a)(2), when a local school system or school has been placed on the level of accreditation immediately preceding loss of accreditation for school board governance related reasons and does not retain full accreditation, the State Board of Education shall recommend to the Governor whether to suspend all members; and Pursuant to this same code section, if the State Board of Education makes a recommendation to suspend, the Governor may suspend all members and appoint temporary replacement members; and Under the provisions outlined above, the State Board of Education has recommended to the Governor the suspension of all members of the DeKalb County Board of Education; and On Monday, February 25, 2013, an Executive Order was issued to remove the six eligible members of the DeKalb County Board of Education. NOW, THEREFORE, BY VIRTUE OF THE POWER VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT Is HEREBY That effective immediately, John Coleman is appointed to fill the unexpired term of the DeKalb County Board of Education, District 1. IT IS FURTHER That effective immediately, Michael Anthony Erwin is appointed to fill the unexpired term of the DeKalb County Board of Education, District 3. IT IS FURTHER That effective immediately, David Campbell is appointed to fill the unexpired term of the DeKalb County Board of Education, District 5. IT IS FURTHER That effective immediately, Joyce Morley is appointed to fill the unexpired term of the DeKalb County Board of Education, District 7.
