ORDERED LOWERED TO HALF STAFF

Today the citizens of Georgia and people around the world are
shocked and dismayed at the tragic event that took place in Aurora,
Colorado; and

The people of Georgia share the grief Of the families and friends of
those who were injured or killed, and we pray for their comfort and
healing in the days to come; and

The President of the United States has Ordered that the flag Of the
United States he flown at half-staff on government buildings and
grounds.

Now, THEREFORE, IN HONOR AND AS A MARK OF RESPECT FOR
THOSE AFFECTED BY THIS TRAGEDY, PURSUANT TO THE
AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF
GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY

That the flag of the United States and flag of the Great State of
Georgia be flown at half—staff On all state buildings and grounds
from this date until sunset, July 25, 2012.

This 20th day of July, 2012.
