THE STATE OF GEORGIA EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: ORDERED: ORDERED: ORDERED: ATTEST During the 2012 Legislative Session, the General Assembly passed Senate Bill 339, relating to the Georgia Aviation Authority, so as to revise the duties of the Georgia Aviation Authority and to provide for the transfer of certain personnel, aircraft, and other assets for the Georgia Aviation Authority to the Georgia Forestry Commission and the Department of Natural Resources. NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY That, as of July 1, 2012, the Georgia Aviation Authority will transfer $1,482,928 in state funds, 16 aircraft, 13 positions and associated equipment to the Georgia Forestry Commission. That, as of July 1, 2012, the Georgia Aviation Authority will transfer $744,140 in state funds, 3 aircraft, 4 positions and associated equipment to the Department of Natural Resources.
