There currently exists at Georgia State University, DeKalb County, Stone
Mountain, Georgia, a building known as Indian Creek Lodge, 900 South Indian
Creek Drive (the “Building”); and

The Board of Regents’ Policy 9.9.3.3 DEMOLITION authorizes the Chancellor or
Vice Chancellor for Facilities to declare buildings, structures and other
improvements no longer advantageously useful to the University System of
Georgia. Said building is included within this policy; and

It is the opinion of Ms. Linda M. Daniels, Vice Chancellor for Facilities of the
Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, that the Building can no
longer be advantageously used by Georgia State University or the University
System of Georgia and should be demolished and removed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BY THE POWER VESTED IN ME As GOVERNOR OF THE
STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY

That the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia is hereby
authorized to demolish and remove the Building from Georgia State University,
DeKalb County, Stone Mountain, Georgia.

IT IS FURTHER

That the appropriate staff of Georgia State University, DeKalb County, Stone
Mountain, Georgia, acting under the approval of the Board of Regents of the
University System of Georgia, is hereby authorized to demolish the Building and
to have all building materials removed from the premises by public works
contract; all said demolition and removal to be performed as expeditiously as
possible.
