EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED: By Executive Order dated April 18, 2012, I appointed a review commission to determine whether the indictment of City of Franklin Mayor, Ms. Teresa H. Chapman, related to and adversely impacts the administration of the office of mayor pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 455-6; and By the report dated April 26, 2012, that commission unanimously recommended that City of Franklin Mayor, Ms. Teresa H. Chapman, be suspended from office under the provisions of O.C.G.A. § 45-5-6. Now, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR 01? THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY That Ms. Teresa H. Chapman is hereby suspended from office immediately and without further action pending the final disposition of the case or until the expiration of her term of office, whichever occurs first, as provided in O.C.G.A. § 45-5-6(c). 7 azday of 012.
