EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS : ORDERED: ATFEST: The State of Georgia holds title to and the Georgia Department of Defense is the custodian of building number 12 located at 935 East Confederate Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia 30316 as part of that campus commonly referred to “Confederate Avenue” located in Land Lots 9, 10, 23 & 24 of the 14”‘ District, Fulton County, Georgia, (hereinafter the “Premises”), as more fully described in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and The Georgia Department of Defense has discontinued use of the Premises; and The Georgia Department of Defense by letter dated December 1, 2011, requested a transfer of custody of the Premises to the Department of Public Safety; and The Georgia Department of Public Safety desires custody and control of the Premises to enhance the capability of the Department to carry out its responsibilities and to provide additional space in close proximity to property presently in its custody at 959 East Confederate Avenue, S.E.; and The Georgia Board of Public Safety, by resolution dated December 8, 2011, requested transfer of custody of the Premises to the Department of Public Safety. Now, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME As GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY That custody of the above—defined Premises and structures located in Fulton County, Georgia be and the same is hereby transferred to the Georgia Department of Public Safety.
