THE STATE OF GEORGIA EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED: The Georgia Department of Community Affairs has been charged with the responsibility of administering the affairs of the Georgia Housing and Finance Authority, including the administration of tax credit allocations; and The Georgia Department of Community Affairs, acting on behalf of the Georgia Housing and Finance Authority, published a draft 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan on the Departrnenfs website on November 2, 2011 and gave due and public notice of the availability of the draft 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan and of the hearings which were open to the public on the draft 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan by running advertisements once a week for two weeks, beginning October 15, 2011 in The Courier Herald (Dublin), The Telegraph (Macon), and The Rome News—Tribune; beginning October 16, 2011 in The Albany Herald and The Savannah Morning News; and one time on October 20, 2011 in The Augusta Chronicle; and The Georgia Department of Community Affairs held the hearings open to the public pursuant to due and reasonable notice in Dublin, Georgia on November 9, 2011 at 10:00am and in Atlanta, Georgia on November 10, 2011 at 10:00am; and Following the hearings and public comment period, the Board of Directors adopted the Qualified Allocation Plan on December 7, 2011, for the Georgia Housing and Finance Authority. NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY That, solely for the purpose of satisfying the requirements for such approval under Section 42(m) (1) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended by the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1989, the 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan, in the form approved by the Board of Directors for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs on behalf of the Georgia Housing and Finance Authority on December 7, 2011, is approved.
