EXECUTIVE ORDER

By Executive Order dated December 20, 2011, I appointed a review
commission to determine Whether the indictments of Brooks
County Board of Education members, Dr. Nancy Whitfield
Dennard, Elizabeth Diane Thomas, and Linda Faye Troutman,
related to and adversely impacts the administration of the office of
board of education member pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 45-5-6 ; and

By the report dated December 30, 2011, that commission
unanimously recommended that Brooks County Board of Education
members, Dr. Nancy Whitfield Dennard, Elizabeth Diane Thomas,
and Linda Faye Troutman be suspended from office under the
provisions of O.C.G.A. § 45-5-6.

Now, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME
AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY

That Dr. Nancy Whitfield Dennard, Elizabeth Diane Thomas, and
Linda Faye Troutman are hereby suspended from office
immediately and without further action pending the final
disposition of the case(s) or until the expiration of their terms of
office, whichever occurs first, as provided in O.C.G.A. § 45-5-6(c).
