THE STATE OF GEORGIA EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: ORDERED: ATTEST: During the 2011 Legislative Session, the General Assembly passed House Bill 414, relating to the Georgia Aviation Authority, so as to revise the duties of the Georgia Aviation Authority and to provide for the transfer of certain personnel, aircraft, and other assets for the Georgia Aviation Authority to the Department of Public Safety. NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY That, as of September 1, 2011, the Georgia Aviation Authority will transfer $958,755 in state funds, $1.8 million in general obligation bond funding, 16 aircraft, 6 positions and associated equipment to the Department of Public Safety.
